Dear Collegewood Families,
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Rochelle Wolf and I'm your new principal. I'm so excited to join the Collegewood family! I want to start by sharing a little about myself. I am joining Walnut Valley Unified School District with eight years of school administration experience, six as a principal. As a teacher, I taught third, fifth, and sixth grades and loved everything about it. I am a California State University Fullerton alumni (Go Titans!). I am married, with two children, and love spending time with them. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year.
At Collegewood, we are committed to empowering students to develop intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Our dedicated teachers will continue to provide all students with high quality instructions designed to meet the needs of all our diverse learners. Using Thinking Maps, small group instruction, targeted learning objectives and consistent, meaningful feedback, our teachers strive to provide all students with engaging lessons to foster growth in academics, collaboration, communication and critical thinking. In short, our teachers will provide students with the necessary tools to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world and develop the skills to become successful global citizens!
I am very active on social media to share with our community all of the amazing things happening during the school day. Please follow us!
Although I am new to Collegewood, one thing that stands out to me is how the collective community, staff, parents and students, genuinely respect and care for each other. I believe that this mutual respect and caring makes Collegewood such a wonderful community, and I feel so honored to be a Cougar! Here’s to a great 2022-23 school year!
Mrs. Rochelle Wolf
